# How to change your password or delete your account?

> Open Profile from your user menu to change your name or password. To delete the account, use Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deactivated at once and deleted after 14 days.

## Open your profile

Select your name at the bottom of the left navigation, then select **Profile**. You can change **Name** there. Your email address is shown but cannot be edited in this screen.

## Change your password

1. Enter your **Current password**.
2. Enter a **New password** with at least eight characters.
3. Select **Update**.

If you signed up with Google and have no password, you cannot use these fields. Open **Support** from your user menu if you need help signing in.

## Delete your account

In **Profile**, choose **Delete account** and type DELETE to confirm. Only the account owner can do this. The app signs you out and deactivates the account right away. The account is deleted after 14 days. Contact **Support** during that period if you need to stop deletion.

> **Tip:** Copy or export content you need before you request deletion.

## Common questions

### Can I change my email address here?

No. The email field is read-only.

### Can I get back into my account after I request deletion?

The account is deactivated right away. Contact **Support** within 14 days if you need to stop deletion.

### What if I cannot remember my password?

The app has no password reset flow. Use **Support** for help.
