# How to fix an action that won't run because you are out of credits?

> Check your Account balance in the left navigation. If it is too low for the action, select Topup to buy a pack or Upgrade to choose a plan. Your saved draft remains available while you add credits.

## Why this happens

An action needs more credits than your current balance. The app may show **You're out of credits**, **Image generation failed**, **Couldn't publish post**, or **The response failed**, depending on where you work.

## How to fix it

1. Check **Account balance** in the left navigation.
2. Check the credit badge on the action you want to run.
3. Select **Topup** to buy a pack, or **Upgrade** to choose a plan.
4. Return to your saved work and try the action again.

Failed actions release any credits reserved for them. Your draft stays saved in **Content**.

## If it keeps happening

If you have enough credits and the action still fails, open **Support** in your user menu. Include the action and message you saw.

## Common questions

### Will I lose my draft while I add credits?

No. Open it again from **Content**.

### When will my monthly credits come back?

They reset each billing period. The balance box shows the days left.
