What are AI credits and how do they work?
Credits pay for actions such as AI drafts, images and publishing. Your balance appears in the left navigation. Check the credit amount shown before an action, then add a credit pack or change plans when you need more.
Check your balance
Look under Account balance in the left navigation. It shows your credits left. Plans that renew also show when credits reset. The credit badge on an action shows its cost before you run it.
See common costs
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn or social draft | 15 |
| Article, offer or email draft | 30 |
| One AI image, Low / Medium / High or Auto | 15 / 20 / 30 |
| Edit one AI image | Same as one new image at that quality |
| Publish to one profile | 5 |
| Publish to X | 25 |
| Publish to X with a link | 325 |
| Quick / Deep Research | 25 / 35 |
X charges more for posts that include a link, so these posts cost more credits. The total can also rise when you choose more images or profiles. AI Chat uses credits based on the amount of text it processes. Other actions show their cost in the app.
Get more credits
Select Topup to buy a pack or Upgrade to pick a plan. Monthly credits reset each billing period. Paid credit packs don't expire and are used after monthly credits. If an action fails, its reserved credits are released.
